Our client, a leader in the field of industrial oven manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Administrator to join their team.

This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of personal computer hardware and software systems within the organization. The successful candidate will provide technical support and training to system users, playing a vital role in maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect personal computer equipment and review helpdesk tickets to prepare PCs for delivery.
- Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and network equipment.
- Load specified software packages, including operating systems and productivity software.
- Enter commands and observe system functions to verify correct operation.
- Respond to user inquiries regarding system operations and diagnose hardware, software, and operator problems.
- Instruct users in the use of hardware and software.
- Recommend and perform minor remedial actions to correct problems.
- Coordinate activities with the help desk, network services, or other information systems groups.
- Assist in upgrading network hardware and software components as required.
- Provide updates, status, and completion information to the Director of IT, IT Help Desk System, and users via chat, email, or in-person communication.
- Replace defective or inadequate software packages.
- Run, terminate, and test network cables as needed.
- Perform network troubleshooting tasks and report issues to the IT team for further investigation.
- Support end users onsite and remotely, ensuring timely assistance.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or technical school; or twenty-four months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical skills in installing and troubleshooting personal computer hardware and software systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system hardware, software, and operator problems.
- Proficiency in running and terminating network cables and performing network troubleshooting tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for providing updates and instructions to users.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with other IT services for comprehensive support.
