Accounting Manager


Job Details

The Manager of Financial Reporting is responsible for assisting in the preparation of the annual Form 10-K and the quarterly Form 10-Qs, including the notes to the consolidated financial statements and related reporting schedules. The role is also responsible for preparing calculations and supporting schedules related to certain accounting areas for which the financial reporting team is responsible.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong understanding of accounting under US GAAP.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of external financial reports, including SEC Form 10-Q and 10-K reports, and prepare supporting schedules underlying the financial information included in the financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of investor communication deliverables, including quarterly earnings releases and investor presentations, to ensure amounts presented are properly supported.
  • Assist with requests from independent auditors related to quarterly reviews and the annual 10-K audit.
  • Prepare financial statement analytics for internal control purposes and for review by external auditors.
  • Prepare calculations and other necessary schedules associated with areas such as share-based compensation and earnings per share.
  • Lead or participate in special projects as needed.

Competencies:

  • Education: Bachelor and/or Master in Accounting
  • Certification: CPA
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of directly related public accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Big 4 experience, a plus
  • Able to keep pace and meet deadlines for multiple tasks without compromising accuracy
  • Strong time management skills
