Job Summary: A growing engineering firm in Shelby County is looking to add to their team! This is a skilled position requiring advanced knowledge in metal fabrication.

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

• Independently perform metal fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, and assembly
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ensure product quality and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements

Schedule & Pay:

• FULL TIME; Mon-Fri, 7:00am-4:00pm
• $25.00-$30.00/hr

Here's What Makes YOU a Great Fit:

• Associate degree or advanced vocational training in metalwork, welding, or technical field;

  OR

  2-3 years of experience in metal fabrication
• Proficient in a variety of metal fabrication processes such as advanced cutting, welding, bending, and assembling
• Relevant certifications a plus but not required
• Understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Enhanced attention to detail, ensuring high levels of precision in fabrication tasks
• Ability to identify and resolve issues during the fabrication process
• Flexibility to adapt to new processes, techniques, and changes in project requirements
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Able to physically do the work (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
• Good work ethic; punctual & dependable; take pride in your work
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Steel toed boots required
• Drug-free; background check
