Responsibilities:
What You Will Do
- Inspecting Automotive glass for any defects or visual items such as surface, edgework, and size for proper specifications
- Packing Automotive glass according to packaging guidelines
- Rework Automotive glass, if necessary
- Plan for and address daily production needs
- Collect data throughout the shift
- Keeping general work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Performing miscellaneous and related duties as assigned

What We Need From You
- Ability to work Holidays, Weekends and Overtime
- Good attendance is important to our team Vitro. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a history of good attendance and who welcome overtime.
- Ability to pass the Pre-employment background check & drug screen test
Physical Requirements and Safety:
- Perform duties within normal manufacturing environmental conditions
- Must be able to climb stairs, push/pull, reach, see, hear and speak
- Will work in warm conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and with assistance, above 50 pounds
- There can be repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
- In addition, this position requires the following abilities: standing, walking, lifting, reaching above shoulders, bending, and twisting
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building
- Must follow all Personal Protective Equipment requirements
Education:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to work fast and efficient and willing to work overtime
- Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to effectively communicate
