Overview:
The Patient Liaison is responsible for multiple clerical functions through interaction with Technologists, referring Physician offices, Radiologists, Department Manager, Patients, and/or Insurance companies, which could include the following - scheduling, verification of orders, and record tracking.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous computer experience and knowledge highly preferred
Must be extremely detailed oriented
Must be able to learn new computer skills
Must have a strong phone etiquette
Must be dependable and must have a positive attitude
Responsibilities:
Verify mammography orders and track current and previous imaging. Assist with scheduling exams, answer phone calls, keep department supplies stocked, finalizing and mailing of patient letters, and other job duties as directed.
