Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manager of Financial Reporting to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and technical accounting matters. The Manager of Financial Reporting will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and distribution of our consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and providing analysis and insights to support decision making. You will be involved with projects to enhance our systems and processes and will be instrumental in developing and implementing improved global accounting policies and procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills and a focus on process improvement initiatives are essential for success in this role.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare quarterly bank compliance packages, including financial statements and compliance with financial covenants.
  • Prepare annual financial statements, related footnotes and supporting workpapers for our external audit.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (primarily U.S. GAAP)
  • Responsible for consolidation process (including recording of consolidating and elimination entries) within OneStream.
  • Keep up to date on accounting standards; work with team to implement new standards and draft technical accounting memoranda as necessary.
  • Key contact with external audit firm ensuring timely completion of audit and related bank reporting.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls over our financial reporting processes to mitigate risks and ensure integrity of financial data.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of our financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with purchase accounting for acquisitions.
  • Lead/assist with ad-hoc questions / projects as needed.


Requirements

Experience and Education
  • BA or BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years' experience; prefer public accounting background
  • CPA or CPA candidate required.
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and process excellence.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Knowledge of OneStream or other consolidation tool a plus
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively and efficiently.
