Are you passionate about caring for pets and those who love them? Brookside Veterinary Clinic, a high-quality, three-doctor practice in Auburn, NY, seeks a full-time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our hospital team.
We aim to provide the finest quality care over our patients' lifetime and establish a permanent bond between our clients and our fantastic staff of compassionate and qualified veterinary professionals.
Veterinary Assistant responsibilities: Assisting hospital staff in appointments by taking patient histories, preparing invoices, and restraining patients. Stocking and cleaning exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels.
Veterinary Reception responsibilities: Answering phone calls promptly, courteously, and professionally. Utilize a computer information system to schedule appointments, update and maintain patient records, and process client payments as necessary.
Top priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary hospital; however, we are happy to train the right applicant. Candidates must have experience in a customer service environment. All members of our team are required to have a caring and compassionate attitude.
