Job Description
Repackers are responsible for repacking, restacking, visually inspect modules and/or individual bottles, scrapping, and relabeling operations of palletized glass. We have openings on our 2nd and 3rd shifts that both run on 2-2-3 schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify the repack, relabel, restacking, or dumping instruction on the Resort Worksheet are correct.
- Ability to document the load tag number form the current pallet processed onto the Resort Worksheet before the pallet is unwrapped.
- Ability to construct cardboard trays and cartons.
- Ability to review line orders at the start of the shift.
- Ability to communicate with supervisor on any special needs for ware being handled.
QualificationsEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: - High School Diploma or Equivalent.
REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English.
- Demonstrate ability to correctly detect and classify defects in glassware.
- Ability to work rotating shifts: 24-7-365.
- Ability to follow departmental and plant S.O.P.'s.
- Maintain general housekeeping and 5S.
