Opportunity Description
Antler US is seeking a Management Company Accountant to be an integral part of the Finance team. Reporting to the US CFO, this position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Finance/Accounting department and learn best in class accounting procedures, workflows, and high-quality reporting.
The ideal candidate will have operational experience and knowledge of venture capital. The candidate will be detail oriented, possess strong logical thinking, organizational and interpersonal skills, and can multitask, prioritize and complete projects on a timely basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Management Company: Manage monthly close
- Income: Prepare monthly invoices and track payments
- Expenses: Code expense invoices; Reconcile and code monthly credit card statement
- Ensure Global Finance has all necessary information to close month books
- Assist with Human Resources and Payroll processing
- Reporting: Budget to Actual; Cash Flow
- US liaison to Global Finance
- Manage ad hoc requests
- Portfolio Company KPI and Cap table tracking
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience
- Bachelor s degree in business / accounting / finance
- Highly analytical and ability to work independently on simultaneous tasks
- Eagerness to learn with a growth mindset
