**Description**
We are looking for a driver that has passion for people! Put your excellent customer service, driving skills, and desire to succeed to work. You will deliver our quality seafood product line to our customers and give them the service they deserve! Our service area ranges from the ski resorts to the suburbs of Salt Lake and North. We require a clean driving record. Have a copy of your 3-year MVR ready for the interview.
Full-time position available!
We are located in Salt Lake City. We supply clean uniforms, you supply the smile! You must be 21 yrs. of age and able to lift to 75 lbs. A CDL not required. We cross-train all of our employees. Not only will you drive, you will work in the warehouse, dock, freshroom and assist in the freezer. No day is the same!
We are under new management and you will have the opportunity to share your ideas and contribute to continued success.
Drug test, criminal background checks, and DOT medical certification mandatory. Position requires some weekend shifts and overtime without notice.
Essential Duties:
Load, unload, stack, and secure freight prevent personnel injury, damage or shifting while maximizing space
Verify and cross check all product (fresh & frozen) on assigned routes matching the coinciding paperwork
Verify and cross check all outgoing product (fresh and frozen) in on the correct truck/route
Communicate with supervisor on shortages, inaccuracies, and coordinate to get corrected and placed on truck prior to departure
Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle using the vehicle inspection report book
Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Regulations, local speed and traffic laws and Company policies
Report any customers suggestions, concerns or complaints to supervisor
Clean interior cargo area of tuck to meet OSHA guidelines for the storage and transport of seafood
Solicit customers for additional orders to increase company sales while delivering product
Collect cash from COD customers; responsible for cash at all times
Turn in invoices, delivery receipts, money, and inspection report daily
Work on the dock, in the freshroom and the warehouse and freezer when not driving
