Currently, we have a Local Home Daily Flatbed driver position available out of Lenexa, Kansas. Local -Home Daily Monday - Friday Hourly compensation $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Overtime over 40 hours. Day cab with hydraulic capabilities. Landoll trailer. Transferring product via dock, ground and side. **Job Requirements**
- CDL Class A. - Two years of tractor trailer experience. - Hazardous Materials Endorsement with required DOT HM training. - Strong customer service skills. - Work closely with others in a team environment. - Ability to communicate personally, by phone, text and email. - Follow instructions and effectively communicate daily/hourly as required. - Be on time for scheduled deliveries and/or timely communicate any schedule deviation. - Operate a commercial vehicle safely and compliantly throughout the Kansas City region. - Meet all DOT/Cheeseman requirements. - Possess a mechanical ability to properly operate and inspect cargo and equipment for safe operation. - Proper load securement, chains, binders, strapping, etc... with a strong focus on safety and product damage. - Knowledge of legal axle and gross weights, load distribution and securement. - Cargo consists of wheeled lift trucks, parts, batteries, etc... - Ability to learn the operation of a variety of lift truck models and other skills. - Customer battery swaps (after training.)
