This position will require local travel within the state. Couriers are responsible for safely, securely, and lawfully transporting cannabis to patient delivery sites, as well as ensuring strict adherence to all delivery and manifest protocols and controls. Couriers will work alongside a partner to provide security for the staff and product from our dispensaries to off-site locations.

**Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)**

* The delivery courier is responsible for delivering products to patients safely

* Transports products to our patients homes quickly and accurately

* Verifies medical marijuana patient identity

* Accepts payment for the product and obtains required signatures upon delivery

* Follows proper inventory procedures, loads/unloads, and operates a vehicle safely

* Must be able to work alongside a partner in a cooperative team environment to provide secure product delivery from our dispensaries to delivery sites

* Assist with packaging deliveries and checking against the order form

* Must ensure product is properly secured prior to delivery

* Contacts delivery patient as needed

* Accurately file and maintain manifests and cash transaction logs after each delivery

* Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product delivery

* Maintain vehicle maintenance logs

* This role is required to assist and/or perform other duties as assigned, as well as in other functions of the operation, including but not limited to: call center, inventory, outreach, security, delivery acceptance, sales consulting, customer sales, and visual merchandising

* Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community

**Qualifications**

* Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum

* State Law requires 21 years of age or older

* Confident navigating by using maps and GPS

* Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

* Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check

* One to three year(s) prior or equivalent experience as a driver preferred

* Maintain a current drivers license and good driving record

* Steady employment history

* Perform his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry.

* Carry out all procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with, OSHA regulations, PharmaCann SOPs, and all applicable procedures.

* Cross-train on and work alongside the remainder of PharmaCanns team as needed.

* Maintain a positive attitude

* Communicate well with employees

* Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

**Working conditions**

This position operates in a professional store environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This position requires long work hours, weekends, nights, overtime as needed, holidays and open work availability. In addition, this position may require minimal travel. This position may be required to work outdoors and/or during inclement weather.

**Physical requirements**

While performing the duties of this job, this position incumbent is regularly required to visually observe, talk and hear. In addition, this position incumbent is frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walk constantly, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
