**Salary:** $20.89 - $23.60 per hour

Tooele County Sheriff's Office is looking for a hard-working individual to perform administrative functions as the primary evidence manager and technician for all evidence within the department.

* Responsible for evidence dispositions, destruction and testifying in court.

* Receiving, storage, and releasing property and evidence collected.

* Supervise and oversee the inmate trustee program and work release.

**Requirements:**

Evidence Custodian I - $20.89:

* Graduation from High School; must be 21 years of age; possess a valid Utah driver's license; a resident of Utah; no disqualifying criminal history; no DUI convictions in the past two years; successfully pass a written and physical fitness; pass a comprehensive background investigation, drug testing and psychological evaluation; required to be eligible to attend the Utah POST and become SFO, BCO LEO Certified.

Evidence Custodian II - $22.48:

* Must meet the requirements of Evidence Custodian/Inmate Coordinator I and must have (3) years of combined experience in law enforcement/corrections and evidence handling. A State or Nationally accepted certificate in Evidence and Property Management in Law Enforcement.

Evidence Custodian III - $23.60:

* Must meet the requirement of Evidence Custodian/Inmate Coordinator I and II. Must have at least (3) years with the department and well versed in department policy and procedure concerning evidence and property handling. Meet or exceed the qualifications in Evidence Custodian/Inmate Coordinator II. A specialty in evidence processing and handling of evidence, i.e., Fingerprinting, DNA collection and Crime Scene documentation.
