Inventory Lead


Job Details

The Inventory Lead will manage and support all inventory control activities. Responsible for the coordination and execution of Inventory Management Plan and Warehouse Management (WM) system, including reconciliation of inventory and transactional management. In this role, responsible for the proactive execution of inventory control activities, analysis of current processes and costs, problem solving, and implementation of improvement strategies with a focus on timely and accurate transactions in a lot-controlled environment. Primary point of contact for all matters related to inventory.

Core Responsibilities:

Act as subject matter expert (SME) for physical inventory reconciliation across Belcamp business, including raw materials, finished goods, packaging, and chemicals

Support Warehouse Management (WM) system within SAP ERP program through master data governance, reporting, transactional management, etc.

Execute regularly scheduled cycle counts (daily/weekly BMOC, monthly raw materials, etc.)

Directly manage inventory personnel who perform inventory tasks, such as cycle counts and segregation and labeling of product dispositions.

Support Outside Warehouse and Co-Packer cycle counts, as needed

Balance and reconcile physical, paper, and electronic inventory movement and tracking. Provide monthly reports to track inventory accuracy, trends, and process improvements

Support customer returns, including inventory adjustments and non-conformance updates

Investigate and resolve inventory issues in a timely manner to support daily production and customer needs

Support balance and reconciliation of Belcamp transfers and supplier PO's

Serve as primary contact for Belcamp inventory

Serve as back up for Production Coordinator, Blend, to create pick lists for production orders

Work with Warehouse Office personnel to ensure smooth daily operations and outline process improvement opportunities

Follow all company safety rules in performing job duties

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will have:

Bachelor's (4-year) degree in business management, operations, supply chain, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience also considered

Approximately 2-5 years of related experience in warehouse/logistics, inventory control, order fulfillment

Familiarity with SAP, WMS, and SFDC systems strongly preferred

Must be well organized person, capable of handling a variety of issues and assignments

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Position requires strong interpersonal and project management skills

Must be able to operate manual hand-trucks

Ability to operate computer equipment and work without close supervision.

Must have the capability to independently process map and improve warehouse and inventory operations
