Pay: $30 - $32.00 base pay+ $500 sign-on bonus opportunity + bonuses
1st Shift: 10:00am--6:30pm Full Time Tuesday-Saturday with overtime as needed
SUMMARY
The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is to provide competent & effective Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support to the Plant and Facility operations in a SAFE manner. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting and repairing of plant machinery to meet industry standards while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to USDA, OSHA, FDA, EPA, SQF and Local Governments. The position will require a flexible schedule focusing on preventive maintenance and production support.

The duties and responsibilities of an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic include maintaining operations equipment following LOTO, GMP and food safety practices in a quick efficient manner.
Assist with install, perform preventive maintenance and/or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, formers, case erectors, wrappers
Knowledge and ability to use basic hand tools.
Must be able to work safely with electricity and have experience with single and 3 phase circuits. Troubleshooting 480V 3 phase motors and controls
Must be able to read and use blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, required tools, and various types of standard testing equipment.
Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, detect and replace defective items, test and make final adjustments for high-speed production equipment.
Must be able to maintain equipment in accordance with diagrams and manufacturer's specifications while following preventative maintenance, work orders and scheduled PM s in a CMMS program.
Maintain a clean and efficient parts inventory while notifying of stock depletion for reorder in CMMS.
Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of all PPE and other safety equipment in an industrial environment
Complete PMs efficiently and thoroughly.
Maintain current GMP, SQF, Food Safety practices.
