Paid Social Strategist (Biddable Media)

Good Apple is seeking an entrepreneurial Paid Social Strategist to join our growing agency. Social Strategists work closely with the media and analytics team to ensure campaigns are planned and executed properly. The main responsibility of the Paid Social Strategist is to plan, manage/optimize, and report on social media advertising campaigns daily (the biggest focus being Facebook/Instagram) and ensure client goals are being met. We seek a motivated candidate with previous social advertising campaign management experience who wants to make an impact by utilizing their foundational knowledge and executing their expertise across social media platforms.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Strategy & Plan Development
  • Help lead research, strategy, planning, and presentation of social media ad campaigns with full execution to internal and client teams
  • Close partnership with the Account Management and Media team to understand client needs and communicate insights and results back to the clients
  • Solid grasp of the media plan and how the channels all work together.
  • Has a strong understanding of key partner offerings, and can assess if new technology or offerings is right for their client
  • Develop and execute detailed creative (ad copy, image, CTA, etc.) and audience testing plans, analyze, and report results back to clients
  • Deep understanding of Meta offerings and solid grasp of other social media platforms & their ads tools, including but not limited to Snap, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, Pinterest
  • Technical Expertise, Campaign Management & Media Plan Execution
  • Proficiently follows best practices for social media management such as campaign setup, trafficking, targeting, and creative
  • Ensures accuracy and client safety with QA checklists and attention to detail
  • Manages optimizations of campaigns to meet client goals, utilizing management and analytics platforms to assist in strategy shifts and testing. Can set up campaigns from scratch
  • Ability to utilize research tools such as Comscore
  • Keep atop of social media industry standards, new technologies (i.e. API partners, data providers, emerging platforms), trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Drive performance through constant optimization, resulting in client satisfaction
  • Capable of writing first-draft POVs, maintaining a steady voice, and providing insights and implications around current events
  • Reporting and Measurement
  • Evaluate overall campaign effectiveness by writing mid-campaign and post-campaign performance reports (client-determined cadence), pulling data from various sources (i.e. Platforms, CRISP, Crossix)
  • Coordinates with the channels (i.e. programmatic, search, media) to identify key high-level insights and supporting details
  • Writes reporting insights, incorporating storytelling techniques explaining the what , why it matters and how we re actioning on it
  • Is adept at referencing past optimizations to explain current performance
  • Can describe in lay terms how the algorithms work, how the media runs, and why or why not an ad is showing at any given moment
  • Presents reports to clients with ability to answer questions and provide campaign details
  • Develops visual storytelling acuity and persona sense of slide aesthetics
  • Team Management and Mentorship
  • Helps create Assistant onboarding plan & track progress with guidance from Supervisor and ASD
  • Train Assistants on campaign execution/management workflows inclusive of planning, trafficking, pacing, accounting and reporting
  • QA their work to achieve 100% accuracy
  • Train Assistants on GA proprietary and 3rd party platforms/tools
  • Regularly meets with Assistants to check up on work progress and professional development (is training on track, additional support needs)
  • Updates Supervisor/ASD on their progress and their Assistant s progress and communicates wins, losses, concerns, and areas of opportunity to improve workflow

Good Apple is a primarily remote company with four week-long off-sites (one/quarter) where we come together to recreate the magic that happens in person. In addition, depending on level/client there will be additional travel to ensure the success of our accounts and business.
