We are currently seeking a skilled Painter and Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This role will involve a combination of painting, wall and ceiling repairs, patching, and providing assistance to our carpenters as needed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic. POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary. Apply paint or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Perform minor repairs and patching on walls and ceilings, including filling holes, cracks, gaps and replaicing ceiling tiles. Use appropriate materials and techniques to achieve seamless repairs and a smooth finish. Assist in the preparation of surfaces for carpentry work, including removing old paint, wallpaper, or debris, and repairing damaged areas to create a clean and suitable substrate for carpentry installations.
