The primary role of the Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) is to support students within Chicago schools.The rate is $20/hour. This will be a M-F school based hours Schedule for the 24/25 School Year. No nights - no weekend s- no on call!
CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist nurses with first aid and notes care provided on applicable form
- Serves as a Seizure and Diabetic Designated Care Aide (DCA) after completing DCA
training
- Assist nurses with medical compliance by entering physical and immunization information
- Assigned to Bus Routes for seizure and diabetic students as applicable
- Works cooperatively with all parents, students, nursing staff and school personnel
- Maintains a safe and healthy environments for all students
- Maintains confidentiality
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Must possess a valid Nurse Aide Certification
- Must be eligible on the IL Healthcare worker registry
- Covid Vaccinated
- Must have current BLS certification
- Ability to complete and pass Fingerprinting
- To provide services in the schools you must successfully complete all orientation classes
