Safety Officer
The Safety Officer is an integral part of the growth and future of company. This position's primary duty is to ensure the company is in compliance and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety guidelines to reduce work related injuries. The person in this role is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the company's safety program. The Safety Officer should have a growth mindset to get 1% better every day, present a positive attitude, approach employees and customers with respect and care, and clearly communicate data from job sites to their supervisor as well as to the appropriate department managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or related field preferred
  • Experience in a safety coordinator position or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations and provide detailed reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least 18 years old and can provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen
