Description

SCOPE:

All Warehouse Team Members (WTM) are responsible for a variety of daily functions in the warehouse and on the facility grounds. The WTM are responsible for assisting in the safe off-load of bulk oils into the appropriate bulk tanks and totes. WTM's warehouse duties consist of, but are not limited to, refilling portable bulk containers used for deliveries and storage, receiving bulk and package deliveries, proper stock rotation based on a FIFO (first in first out). Facility and grounds duties may include, but are not limited to, daily inspections of the property fence line to ensure that the grounds are secure, inspecting general maintenance, consisting of monthly sweeping of the parking areas and surrounding blacktop.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES & DELIVERABLES

  • Oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of petroleum goods including supplies, equipment, and for the purpose of assuring shipments are prepared for timely delivery
  • Process a variety of reports in written and electronic form (e.g. requisitions, paperwork, reports, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information and/or materials to appropriate parties
  • Receive stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct
  • Drive vehicles (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.) for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites
  • Deliver a variety of items for the purpose of distributing items to assigned locations and/or individuals
  • Load and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport
  • Prepare orders by either pulling from stock or securing boxes for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements
  • Participate in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses
  • Respond to inquiries of staff for the purpose of providing information and/or direction regarding the status of deliveries, etc.
  • Maintain documents, files and records (e.g. tracking on line shipping, transfer forms, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, and providing materials and reliable resource information
  • Maintain delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle
  • Clean warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area
  • Maintain facility grounds inside/outside for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area
  • Work with Dispatch to expedite shipments and deliveries in a safe and timely manner
  • Reports directly to the Warehouse Lead

LEADERSHIP & TEAM REACH
  • This position reports to Plant Manager and work closely with other Sales, Administrative, and Driver groups as well. All Warehouse Team Members are critical to the operation of the plant, and support delivery drivers.

  • Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing
  • Lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
