DEPARTMENT: PAWS
RESPONSIBILITIES: Accepts animals from the public and Animal Control officers, educates and assists the pet-owning public. Cares for a wide variety of unwanted animals. Assists with euthanizing of animals at shelter when necessary, maintains records, books, and computer entry. Keeps shelter clean.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED-equivalent with six (6) months of experience in the handling of animals or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid SC driver's license or the ability to obtain one before employment.
