As our next Manufacturing Production Manager, reporting to the Production and Warehouse Director, you will manage the production of our intermediate or finished fragrance products ensuring that all materials are produced and packaged on time and compliant to the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices within quality and safety standards and cost goals for service requirements to customers.

You will work in Mt. Olive, New Jersey.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Production Management
  • Control production of our fragrances, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules for the assigned production line(s).
  • Develop and increase production processes and overall organization on the basis of continuous improvement methods.
  • Obtain functions and enhance machinery and equipment in collaboration with the engineering department.
  • Identify and solve process- and product-related problems independently.
  • Develop the necessary investments.
  • Work in close collaboration with other operational departments.
  • Collaboration in CAPEX projects for the area.
  • Implementing CI tools as part of the improvement plan strategy
  • People Management
  • You will oversee the development of work teams within the department through coaching, training and engaging team members through cascading of goals, visual performance boards, performance management and ongoing communications of factory changes and performance.
  • Support employee involvement in safety, analytical, and lean programs, encouraging a teamwork atmosphere.
Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in world-class manufacturing concepts.
  • Expertise in product industrialization.
  • Expertise in change management.
  • Knowledge of business processes and system redesign.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX).
  • Understanding of ISO, FSCC, GHP and GMP requirements, and EHS.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years experience as manager in manufacturing site with +50/100 employees to manage under your department.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.

  • Master's Degree in a Technical Field.
