Pay Rate:

Starts at $26.10/hour

Shift: Days only

Perfect Attendance Bonus: $0.75/hour

Up to a 5% quarterly bonus!

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the batch house and binder application areas.
  • Batch house includes areas where granular raw materials used in glassmaking are unloaded, stored, and blended with incoming raw materials for the glass furnace.
  • Will be responsible for formula changes to both batch (based on raw material availability) and binder application.
  • Ability to identify batch material, weigh out batch ingredients, operate delivery system, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Must be able to meet requirements for respirator fit testing and mobile equipment certifications.
  • Must always maintain high quality and high housekeeping standards as well as compliance with company rules.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Minimum of two years industrial experience in a manufacturing environment required.
