Job Summary

The Business Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in defining comprehensive, accurate business requirements for data-centric projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate discussions to gather and document detailed business requirements for data-focused projects, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Working with QA to verify that IT deliverables meet business expectations.
  • Lead projects through analysis, development, and testing phases, ensuring any new requirements are documented and prioritized effectively.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to capture requirements, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate and manage communication between business and technical teams to drive UAT to successful completion.
  • Interact frequently with management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements and technological solutions to business challenges.
  • Demonstrate proactiveness and a continuous learning mindset to understand various business areas and suggest innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
