We are seeking a Water Utility Worker for assignment in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The selected candidate will learn and gain skills in a variety of equipment maintenance, servicing and operating tasks of a water treatment facility. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm - - This position has a pay rate of $17.50/ Hr. - - - - Candidates with prior water, plumbing or irrigation experience are highly preferred - - Responsibilities - Performs any combination of tasks pertinent to controlling operation of plants and pumping stations as directed- Monitors treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water, sludge, and effluent under direction of a licensed Operator- Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels - Observes and reports abnormalities to Lead Operator - Assists Operators in the operation of valves and gates either manually or by remote control to control and adjust flow and treatment processes - Maintains shift log and records meter and gauge readings- Takes samples ...Utility Worker, Water, Utility, Worker, Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing
