Job Details
Performs variety of minor or routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical repairs and installations. Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks, and checks and replaces light bulbs. Completes routine grounds and vehicle maintenance. Receives and stores maintenance and cleaning supplies. Receives work orders and gathers parts and supplies for expected installation or repair. Inspects requested work to determine if repair or installation can be accomplished independently, or if mechanic or supervisor should be notified. Checks and replaces incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs in lamps, lighting fixtures, and exit signs. Completes routine electrical work such as installing outlets and switches, replacing fuses and wiring connections. Uses modular or pin connections to complete installations of telephones, fax machines, computers, and so forth.
