Position performs various tasks associated with cleaning and sanitizing assigned work areas and equipment. Performs a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and using cleaning devices and agents to sanitize the general work environment. Position also includes completing necessary paperwork to document duties and tasks.
Position requires the following (to be completed with or without a reasonable accommodation): Position requires lifting up to 27 lbs., carrying equipment and supplies up and down stairs, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, being on one's feet for extended periods of time, and the ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Position requires safe handling of cleaning products and successful completion of Bloodborne pathogen training. May be required to work weekends and/or holidays.
**PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:**
* Perform various cleaning and organizing duties as assigned
* Maintain all safety standards
* Follow food safety standards
* Perform other duties assigned by supervisor as needed
* Use cleaning devices and/or chemical agents to clean equipment or environment
* May operate vehicles such as floor scrubber and/or golf cart in execution of duties
* Read and execute Standard Operating Procedures including safety procedures for handling cleaning agents and chemicals
* Regular, reliable, predictable attendance **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
* 18 years or older
* Must be able to sufficiently read, write and speak English due to the safety sensitivity of this role **HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:**
* Experience working with industrial chemicals (e.g., using chemicals in a safe way, reading and interpreting labels, selecting and mixing correct chemicals, etc.)
* Experience preparing documentation (e.g., detailing work completed )
* Experience working with Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g., wearing proper protective equipment, practicing personal hygiene, adhering to safety practices, etc.)
* Experience working with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies (e.g., using chemicals such as acids, caustics, degreasers, using equipment such as foamers, scrubbers, or pressure washers)
* Experience driving a scrubber
* Experience reading and using standards of operation (e.g., understanding and using process, procedure, workflow documentation, etc.) Note: This role is currently part of the PepsiCo organization, but as a result of an announcement made on August 3, 2021, this role is planned to transfer to the new standalone Juice Joint Venture entity owned by both PAI Partners, a European Private Equity firm, and PepsiCo, contingent on final regulatory approval and closure of the related deal.
