Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Pay Details
40 Hrs./Wk.= $1762 per week
Blended Pay = $44.05hr.
Weekly Taxable: $600 per week
Weekly travel stipend:$1162 Per week
OT rate:$51.55/hr.
Responsibilities:
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Duration : 13 week contract
08 hours a day
40 hours/ week.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience depending on the specialty
All professions must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and used it within the last 6 months.
Territory mileage radius Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with health coaching and education for patients and families
- Implement basic life support measures when necessary
- Perform airway management procedures
- Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation
- Conduct sonography procedures as needed
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate manner
- Maintain aseptic techniques during patient care procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team on discharge planning
- Utilize Cerner or similar electronic health record systems effectively
- Provide critical care support as required
Experience:
Required:
- Current LVN license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in discharge planning processes
- Knowledge of Cerner or similar EHR systems
- Familiarity with critical care procedures
