We provide comprehensive marketing services to various brands with a specialization on tribal and commercial casino resorts from coast to coast.
DESCRIPTION
As a Production Artist at Good Giant, you will be part of our award-winning Creative team and execute mechanicals that meet industry standards as well as client and brand standards. Projects include, but are not limited to, DM, POP, displays, ads, OOH, packaging, and web optimized assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Familiarize self with client business/product offerings and brand guidelines
- Create initial through final mechanicals from direction provided by client/vendor specifications, creative layouts and concept sketches
- Collaborate with project management, account and creative teams to communicate project related issues effectively and in timely manner to ensure adherence to prescribed deadlines
- Inspect mechanical for technical integrity and adherence to brand guidelines
- Prepare files for release according to industry standards, best practices and department process
- Release mechanicals using various delivery methods (including traditional, automated and web-based)
- Upload final files per archival process, maintaining appropriate naming conventions and prescribed folder structure
- Create mock-ups, comps and presentation boards
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 4 years related professional experience in a design or agency setting.
- A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in advertising/communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor (4 year) degree is preferred.
- Good understanding of creative production processes
- Good understanding of color theory and color relationships
- Good understanding of composition and information hierarchy
- Solid demonstration of typography and layout a must
- Energetic, positive and collaborative with a great work ethic
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work with quick turn-arounds
TECHNINCAL SKILLS
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
- Solid understanding of UX/UI digital design and development
- Prior experience working in a project management software solution desired
