Job Purpose

The Warehouse/Logistics Manager is a member of the site leadership team and is responsible for managing the shipping/receiving processes for raw material, finished goods, inventory processes. Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Streams, 3rd party Environmental Waste company/carriers, regulatory documentation and labeling, recycle program, ensure accurate and timely processing of all returns and managing off-site warehousing third party.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in site leadership meetings and expectations
Support operations to create a culture of functional excellence, accountability, professionalism and
commitment to company values and standards
Manage and direct work of team leaders and their teams
Plan, lead, organize and control the delivery of the operations contribution to site objectives and overall
performance in terms of HSE&S, service and quality, costs and personnel
Follow all standard operating processes, looking for and responding effectively to hazards in safety,
health, security and environment, taking account of people, plant, community and procedures
Develop individual team members and build a team which collectively is capable of and fully involved in
achieving the task. Enforce personal performance standards within team
Ensure all safety rules/procedures are being observed and followed by team members
Oversee the day-to-day operations of warehouse, including: freight, returns, receiving, parcels,
transfers, prekit and inventory management.
Lead and develop warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service and on time delivery
Manage daily plan to exceed expectations for productivity and accuracy
Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment
Ensure production inventory control, shipping/receiving priorities are being followed and status is
updated at shift end
Account for proper allocation of person hours per shift
Ensure all quality related process controls are being performed in accordance with established
procedures
Work with quality department to ensure all quality related process controls are working properly at all
times and to determine new ways to ensure high quality product
Maintain and oversee all hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams on the site
Communicate and build relationship with third party Environmental Waste Companies/carriers
Ensure regulatory documentation and labelling for all waste shipments
Manage all current waste profiles and development of new profiles through third party
Manage the recycle program for the facility
Manage tote management program (cleaning, recertification and managing leases for all tote tanks)
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all returns
Communicate targets to team (s). Measure and communicate status versus results expected
Lead an operational excellence agenda by coaching and teaching functional excellence
Hold team accountable for performance standards and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure team follows standard operating procedures and processes
Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop employees, ensure staffing and stimulate talent
(management)
Mentor, challenge, and develop personnel with emphasis on change management, cross training
employees and driving employee ownership of company results
Communicate and hold team accountable for all housekeeping standards, complying with established
corporate safety initiatives and maintaining a safe work environment
Perform other key activities as required

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Management experience in manufacturing or logistics
Effective leadership, interpersonal skills, performance management, and people development skills required
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with clear prioritization and organizational skills
Effective communicator with all levels of the organization (employees, managers, customers)
Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems (SAP), etc.)

Rewards & Benefits

Base salary range for this role is: $ 110,000 to $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
