RECREATION ASSISTANT I
SCOREKEEPER
(16 years of age or older)
This classification is the entry level of the recreation series working under immediate supervision
Duties
Performs a variety of tasks in support of programs
Monitors & assists with the supervision of individual programs, team sports, & activities
Responsible for event set-up & execution
Performs customer service, miscellaneous office duties
Administers basic first aid, if needed
Responds in emergency situations within scope of training
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education
Eighth grade graduate
Experience
Previous experience working with recreation programs preferred
Must have ability to work indoors & outdoors
Requirements
This is a non-driving position
Pay
$11.00-13.00/hr. DOQ
RECREATION ASSISTANT II
(18 years of age or older)
This classification is mid-level in the recreation series working under general supervision
Duties
Performs a variety of activities related to the organization, direction, maintenance, & supervision of recreational programs
Assists in leading other workers
Administers basic first aid, if needed
Responds in emergency situations within scope of training
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education
High school graduate or GED
Experience
Previous field/tournament experience desired (both indoors & outdoors)
Requirements
Must possess valid driver's license
Pay
$12.13-14.13/hr. DOQ
RECREATION ASSISTANT III
FACILITY SUPERVISOR
(18 years of age or older)
This classification is the highest level in the recreation series working under general supervision
Duties
Performs a variety of activities related to the organization, direction, instruction, maintenance, & supervision of recreational/sport programs
Assists in leading other workers
Administers basic first aid, if needed
Responds in emergency situations within scope of training
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education
High school diploma or GED
College graduate preferred
Experience
Previous facility, recreational /sport programming and/or tournament experience desired (both indoors & outdoors)
Requirements
Must possess valid driver's license
Pay
$13.37-15.37/hr. DOQ
Hours
Vary depending on the programs assigned to work, includes evenings & weekends.
