The Procurement Manager, reporting into the Procurement Director, will be responsible for research and benchmark current market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges for each commodity. Contribution to the companys success will be leading the effort to develop a suite of Standard Work across an optimized Procurement process map and managing a team of buyers to optimize key performance metrics including requisition to purchase order (PO) cycle time, PO lines meeting manufacturing need dates, pay terms, small business plan goals, and yellow/red suppliers. This role will also collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Program Managers, and Material Program Managers in securing the best solutions for new or existing programs.
