Spanish Translator
Job Details
Responsibilities:
Translate written content accurately and efficiently from English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
Ensure translated texts maintain the original meaning, tone, and style of the source material.
Proofread and edit translated texts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Conduct research when necessary to ensure accurate translation of specialized terminology.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to clarify translation requirements and address any concerns or questions.
Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project goals.
Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and language trends.
Requirements:
Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Proven experience as a translator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of previous translation work.
Certification or accreditation in translation is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
Cultural sensitivity and awareness to effectively convey nuances and idiomatic expressions in translations.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
