Procurement Manager


Job Details

The Procurement Manager - Electronics is responsible for overseeing the procurement process for electronic components and equipment required by the organization. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of electronic goods while maintaining quality standards. The Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their requirements and ensure that the organization's electronic procurement needs are met efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to electronic components and equipment, aligned with the organization's objectives and budgetary constraints.
  2. Identify reliable suppliers of electronic goods, conduct vendor evaluations, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  3. Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of electronic products.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, manufacturing, and R&D teams, to understand their electronic procurement needs and provide support and guidance.
  5. Evaluate market trends, technological advancements, and supplier capabilities to make informed decisions regarding electronic procurement.
  6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of electronic components, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dynamics.
