Job Details
Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative tests according to standard procedures. Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures. Assists in writing experimental reports, summaries, protocols and appropriate documentation in lab notebook. Performs routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments.
-Assist QA Analysts in performing scheduled calibrations.
-Prepare reagents as needed for testing.
-May make simple adjustments that must be approved by QA Analyst II or higher.
-Begin to familiarize self with ISO 9001 standard, the Quality Management system and audit requirements.
-Training Matrix completed and signed off by Mentor.
-Some basic Fresno Chemistry instruction: Product Families.
-Basic operations training-understanding the working of plant processing and vessels.
-Introduction into Responsible Care.
-Understand the Quality Improvement Process
**Please note: Hours of this position vary from week to week, but the employee will work 40 hours each week. The applicant needs to have a flexible schedule**
This is a 3-month contract to hire role with room for growth within the company.
