Job Opportunity: Attorney - Insurance Defense Litigation
Law Firm Overview: Our direct Law firm client specializes in catastrophic personal injury and construction defect cases. They pride themselves on providing top-notch legal services in insurance defense litigation.
Position Overview: Our direct law firm client is seeking highly motivated attorneys with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for their upcoming Woodland Hills office. Prior insurance defense experience is required.
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (with commuting to Orange County, surrounding counties, and occasional travel to Central and Northern California)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in drafting Case Management Orders and making court appearances.
- Organize and analyze case information, providing detailed reports to carriers.
- Propound and respond to written discovery.
- Draft law and motion documents.
- Meet and coordinate with clients and experts.
- Attend site inspections.
- Take and defend depositions, including those of experts.
- Engage in all phases of trial preparation.
- Opportunity for first and second-chair trial experience.
Qualifications:
- Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and research skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
