About Us: SF-based Nucleus Talent is dedicated to partnering with early-stage founders and emerging fund managers to recruit elite technical talent, leadership, and founding teams. Our mission is to lay a solid foundation for groundbreaking success and scalable infrastructure. Our firm only hires highly technical operators for Seed & Series A startups and investors (Associate-Partner) for emerging funds.
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Summer or Fall Intern to join our team and help with research focused on early-stage venture capital and all aspects of company building. This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside our founder, who was previously a Partner & Practice Lead at one of the highest-profile boutique executive search firms in the US and served as a Principal at True Search, an elite top global firm. You will get exposure to some of the top early-stage investors in the Bay Area and delve deep into the world of venture capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on potential investors and technical operators.
- Support platform and community efforts, helping to organize and manage events.
- Assist in growing our social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, Twitter, & TikTok.
- Help identify top early-stage investors and elite technical operators for recruitment purposes.
- Attend and participate in private events (dinners, seminars, etc) and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate on various projects, recruiting from associate to general partner levels depending on the project's needs.
Qualifications:
- Growth mindset.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at a top university. Likely majors may include Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Finance, and Economics.
- Genuine fascination, interest, and excitement about the investment world and startup ecosystem.
- Aspires to be a founder or member of the startup community one day and has a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and willing to take initiative on various tasks and projects.
