Plastics Production Manager

Our client is a privately held company based in Orange County, CA that produces Injection molded containers like pails and drums.

We are looking for a PLASTICS PRODUCTION MANAGER. This individual will oversee the production of blow molded containers used predominantly in the food industry and three shifts running 24/ 7

They will also be charged with leading the company toward improving its overall production capabilities and processes. This will include sourcing and installing and integrating new machinery and procedures.

A qualified candidate will have:

• 5 years or more of experience in plastic manufacturing
• Management experience
• Extensive knowledge of injection molding
• Ability to speak Spanish is strongly preferred
• Experience implementing new procedures and overseeing new machines / robotics / automation.
• Ability to work together as part of a team and under limited supervision or independently.
• 2 or 4 years of college or formal leadership and injection machine training
• Computer skills: Word & Excel and/or Docs & Sheets. Basic knowledge of CAD and/or CAM, PLC and ERP

They will offer a base of 90-110K + 5% bonus plus full benefits.
