Greer Financial Services is seeking a Director of Finance for a strategic business partner in Lubbock, TX. The ideal candidate should be an experienced, proactive, results-oriented financial professional who can balance strategic financial oversight with hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial operations. They should be comfortable working in a complex healthcare environment and able to drive financial performance while supporting the organization's broader mission and goals. The Director of Finance will assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial oversight of assigned facilities, including performance monitoring, variance analysis, and supporting operational targets.
- Develop and manage financial dashboards, providing critical insights to guide decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with senior management on budget development, capital project planning, and long-term financial strategies.
- Act as a key liaison for accounts payable and payroll processes, ensuring smooth financial operations across departments.
- Drive compliance with internal audit recommendations and financial regulations, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Partner with the accounting team to accurately represent the economics of operational and clinical services.
- Lead special projects that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency across the region.
- Assist with the development of budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience
- 7+ years' of experience in finance or accounting
- CMA or CPA designation preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
