Position Summary:

Essential Duties:

  • Lead and organize staffing functions for all client cases, matching them with the appropriate skill level staff.
  • Work collaboratively with Case Managers to provide counseling and support to our dedicated caregivers.
  • Ensure new and ongoing client cases are staffed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain requests for service in a cost-effective way, minimizing overtime and assigning the appropriate caregiver level.
  • Guarantee data and schedules are consistently and accurately entered into the computer system.
  • Oversee that Case Managers comply with their regularly scheduled tasks.
  • Alternate on-call duties and take appropriate actions as required, adhering to established staffing procedures.
  • Optimize worker utilization through well-planned assignments and integration of new and existing staff.
  • Schedule employee introductions and conduct supervisory visits to ensure quality care and client satisfaction.
  • Be responsible for completing sales calls, scheduling client evaluations, and initiating the start of services.
  • Implement and manage departmental systems; develop and launch new systems as needed.
  • Drive towards meeting or exceeding company goals and KPIs.
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
  • Follows all HIPAA regulations and requirements
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements & Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years of staffing experience in the home care field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the healthcare field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school (bachelor s degree preferred).
  • CNA certification preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver s license and proof of insurance is required
