Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair to specifications for issues on most current makes and models of vehicles, both foreign and domestic.
- Work as a team both getting help and assisting other technicians in performing technical and mechanical activities including state inspections.
- Researching the vehicle that is being worked on for service bulletins and repair info.
- Explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals who may include other service writers/employees and/or customers on an as-needed basis.
- Learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- You may also be responsible for Repair Estimates
Qualifications- Requirements: 2+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis
- Problem solving, and repair experience Virginia State Inspector Licensed.
- At least 1 ASE within 1 year of hire
- ASE Master Certified L1 (Automobile Advanced Engine Performance Specialist) with a focus on diagnostics a plus.
- Strong leadership skills a plus.
