Baker
Lake City Food Manufacturing company needs a baker. This skilled individual will be responsible for adhering to all baking procedures including but not limited to mixing procedures and line operation procedures. They need to be able to keep accurate records for production, keep the work area clean, basic math skills, consistent lifting of up to 50LBS, stand entire shift. Pay starts at $18.00. Great benefits package after hire.
Responsibilities
- Understands how to safely operate, load, control and shut down associated equipment.
- Consults, reviews, and verifies specification for items to be produced including proper equipment set up and proper ingredients.
- Weighs out the necessary ingredients required by formula.
- Responsible for adhering to all baking procedures including but not limited to mixing procedures (texture, temperature, making adjustments, floor time, mix time, down time) line of procedures (weights, record keeping, machine adjustments, oil levels).
- Knowledge of dough consistency and its effect on equipment performance and/or weight control.
- Setup and tear down when shift before or after is not using equipment.
- Prepared for changeovers with equipment and staging of raw materials.
- Empty hoppers of left over dough.
Qualifications and Skills- Previous Baking experience
- Reading and Writing
- Basic Math and Accounting Skills
- Ability to stand entire Shift of 8-10 hrs
