Job Summary: Provide systems support for Point Of Sale registers, assist in administering a Local Area Network and provide training and operational support to LAN users for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft O365, Meraki wireless, Telecommunications, and proprietary Information Systems. Work on special projects and generate reports for management as required.

Successful applicants will need to be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide hardware support for Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android devices, printers, LAN hardware, IP Telephones, and Audio/Visual equipment
  • To provide training and user support of basic LAN operations, commercial & proprietary PC applications and Point of Sale register operations
  • Assist in administering a 400+ node Local Area Network
  • To provide computer based solutions to miscellaneous business problems
  • To generate and distribute management reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain Six Flags Guest First Standards
  • All other duties as assigned by the Information & Technical Services by Department Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a college degree in a computer related field
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, and Ethernet Networks
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android environments
  • Experience using Microsoft O365
  • Possess a friendly, service oriented personality and the ability to work well with people
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. This position will support operational hours, which are typically weekends in the spring and fall, and daily operation during the summer. Other hours may be available depending on department needs
