Pay Information
Starting pay - $34.65 - $39.60 per hour
Job Purpose
Repair, maintain, and support daily production. Respond to breakdowns and calls to keep production running. Support weekend maintenance repair along with PM activities and contribute your own ideas.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform daily equipment inspections/checks for abnormal situations.
- Support department in achieving daily production targets.
- Document daily equipment related activities.
- Suggest and implement approval ideas that reduce repeat or potential downtime
- Support weekend and plant shutdown activities.
- Preventative maintenance and continuous improvement of equipment and tools as required in or guarantee safety, quality, and delivery targets
- Equipment modifications as required to support business plan initiatives, new model requirements, or retooling requirements.
- Able to analyse problems and determine root causes
- Fill in when low manpower due to training, PTO, or attrition/succession
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Technical degree preferred
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with a 2-year technical degree or minimum of 2 years of relevant experience if not degree preferred.
Other Job-Specific Skills:
- Experience with Fanuc robots, Fanuc CNC, and Mitsubishi PLC s, CMMS system, Outlook Email
Working Conditions
- Able to work 12 hours shifts long term
- Work on heat treat carburizing furnaces
- 12 hr. Shift, rotating schedule (Work: Monday Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday) 6pm-6am
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, daily overtime, 2-2-3 schedule, and off shifts as needed.
- Willingness to travel (percentage of travel varies between roles).
