**Summary**
Baker is looking for you! Are you a skilled Carpenter Helper who is able to get on federal projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to work on one of our largest projects in the Norfolk area yet! NNIT is a 3-year project with opportunities for both technical and career growth! Come join our team as we begin this exciting project!
The **Carpenter Helper** assists with constructing, erecting, stripping, and/or repairing structures of steel, wood or plywood using carpenter's hand and power tools conforming in construction documents. Will be exposed to all of the following duties but may specialist in one or more areas.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
The **Carpenter Helper** will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. + Helps Install Footing Forms
+ Helps Build and Install Structural Deck Forms
+ Helps Set Slab-on-Grade Forms
+ Helps Prep and Set Tilt-up/Precast Forms
+ Ensures a Safe Work Environment
+ Participates in Training/Certifications
**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
+ Must be able to attain a TWIC card - We will pay for your TWIC card!
