Key Duties and Responsibilities: This list of responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Performance of Fabrication Duties:
  • Operates fabrication and shop machinery and equipment (e.g., CNC machine, table saw, miter saw, etc.). Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
  • Position and place layout on product for tracing design with die or blade.
  • Observes machine operations to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
  • Performs minor machine maintenance to all fabrication and shop equipment such as oiling machines, dies or workpieces.
  • Sets up and performs thermoforming work.
  • Creates customer displays as assigned.
  • Attends and represents the Fabrication Shop for company functions as assigned (e.g., Trade Shows, Home Shows, etc.).
Miscellaneous duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning, picking up garbage, etc.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections prior to use in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Generate and process orders in ERP system.
  • Back-up others in your department.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


1-2 years' experience operating a CNC machine, table saw, or miter saw a plus is preferred
