TSC's is seeking an Electronics Technician III located in our Huntsville, AL to support our production division.
Responsibilities:
Performs technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, proto-type models or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video type circuits and logic systems. Conducts engineering/ development tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in general research work. Diagnoses and corrects electronic circuitry malfunctions. Assists in the development of electronic equipment. Provides design details and recommends modifications to engineering designs as needed. May prepare instructional guides for repairing, calibrating, and maintaining equipment and systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and 3-5 years of production and/or assembly experience
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications: - Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
- Ability to assembly, test, rework, repair according to IPC Standards
- Demonstrable experience testing and troubleshooting complex communications systems and providing formal problem reports.
- Demonstrable experience deploying, installing and configuring RF systems and hardware components.
