Position Type: Paraprofessionals/Paraprofessional - Student Supervisor Date Posted: 6/17/2024 Location: WBL Area High School Salary Range: Per the Paraeducator Contract Salary Schedule ($21.31/hr) Anticipated Start Date: September, 2024 Work Week: 6.5 hours per day, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch (9:00 am - 4:00 pm daily) Student Level: White Bear Lake Area High School Position Summary: Provides vital student support during the school day by developing positive relationships with students throughout school building. Responsibilities include greeting students and guests, modeling positive behavior, monitoring student behavior, and providing student support in a variety of situations. Additionally, the position involves monitoring the student parking lots approximately 2-hours per day as well as assisting with student dismissal on a daily basis. Student Monitors work closely with the main office staff to provide student support. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Education and /or Experience: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with adolescents, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
