The City of Napervilles Electric Utility is currently seeking a Stocker to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the operation of the Department of Public Utilities warehousing operation, tool room, and locating sections. Incumbent is responsible for the receipt and issue of materials, monitoring material levels, and related record keeping Duties Receives, issues, and tracks material and supplies used by the Electric Utility (to maintain the electric grid) according to warehouse procedure and City/utility accounting standards. Performs similar tasks for other city departments for material contained in the Electric utility warehouse. Utilizes inventory control software and related peripherals. Supports the organization of the warehouse and storage yard by prioritizing material, stocking shelves, rotating stock, assembling storage racks, and categorizing material according to its use and value.
