This Employment Defense Attorney role involves working with partnership teams on complex cases, managing cases from start to finish, and representing Fortune 500 companies. The position requires an individual who is proficient in case management software, legal software, LexisNexis, employment law, and can effectively manage a variety of tasks while adhering to the highest standards of the profession.

Responsibilities:
Work on large complex cases in collaboration with the partnership team, primarily handling discovery and legal research.
Manage cases from beginning to end, including depositions, discovery, law & motion practice, and court appearances.
Represent Fortune 500 companies, ensuring their legal interests are adequately protected.
Utilize case management software and legal software to maintain organized and accurate records.
Conduct thorough and detailed legal research using tools such as LexisNexis.
Prepare and review legal documentation, ensuring all details are correct and in compliance with legal standards.
Apply knowledge of employment law to advise and represent clients effectively.
Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with professional legal standards and ethics.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates within the team.
Maintain an active license to practice law in the state of California.
